Bio :
Mark is a Principal Research Scientist for Smith & Nephew (S&N) and has worked there in Research for 10 years. He has a Ph.D. in materials science with a background in bearings, tribology, corrosion, polymers, metals and ceramics. Mark led the effort to develop their highly crosslinked polyethylene for knees, educates sales representatives and surgeons on the value and characteristics of S&N products and technologies, and, more recently, served as the primary Research lead on a team developing an additive-manufactured, implantable device.
